RIDGELAND, SC —
Ridgeland-Hardeeville will play for a lower state championship.

The Lady Jaguars knocked off four-time defending state champion Bishop England 66-41 to advance to the SCHSL Class AAA Lower State finale this weekend at the Florence Civic Center.

Ridgeland-Hardeeville (17-3) never trailed against the Battling Bishops.

Qua Drayton led all scorers with 30 points in the game.

The RHHS victory avenged last years loss to Bishop England in the lower state final.

Ridgeland-Hardeeville will face Swansea Saturday at 2 p.m. with the winner advancing to the Class AAA state championship game on March 3 in Columbia.
