Concussions are an unfortunate possibility when playing sports. Bishop England takes this risk seriously by requiring all student athletes playing a contact sport to take a baseline concussion test each year before participating in team workouts and practices. The player packet that each player and parents must sign includes the symptoms of a concussion and how concussions will be treated by our training staff. Baseline concussion tests will be administered at school throughout the year. The test takes approximately 40 minutes, and the cost for the testing is $5. Dates for administering the concussion test will be listed as they are set up throughout the year, student athletes may be informed by individual coaches.
