Bishop England completed a season sweep of rival Academic Magnet with a 55-47 win Tuesday in North Charleston.

Bishops senior forward Chrsitian Drummond posted his sixth double-double of the season with 18 points on 5-of-7 shooting from inside the 3-point arc and 10 rebounds.

Academic Magnet built an eight-point lead through the opening quarter. Bishop England found its rhythm in the second quarter, though, outscoring the Raptors 22-9 to take a five-point lead into halftime.

The Bishops kept their momentum rolling in the second half, stretching their lead to 43-34 by the end of the third quarter.

Brendan McHale finished with 12 points while Leo Albano added 10 in the Bishops’ final tuneup before region play.

Bishop England (10-3) travels to Lake Marion for its Region 7-AAA opener on Friday before hosting a rematch against crosstown rival Wando on Saturday.
